In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In the Quran, we are encouraged to unite and pursue justice for the sake of Allah (swt). “Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil—it is they who will be successful.” Surah Ali’ Imran, Ayah 104 The Muslim Day at the Capitol is an annual event that brings together the Muslim community from all around Minnesota. It aims to build a just and abundant Minnesota for all of us. To do so, hundreds of Muslim Minnes otans come together to organize around our path to power. It is an opportunity to learn about political in Minnesota with the rest of the Muslim community. It is also a way for us to advocate for our Muslim interests in the state and hold our politicans accountable. In these uncertain times, it is our role as Muslims to strive to lead with courage and resilience and to advocate for the interests of our community in light of the current affairs. Inshallah, join us at this year’s Muslim Day at the Capitol.
